When Dave Janis began selling real estate in Boulder, Colorado in 2008, he noticed the quality craftsmanship that existed in the Chicago-area homes his parents built seemed to be lacking in Colorado. After successfully building the top-producing Janis Properties team of Coldwell Banker, Dave expanded to include his other passion in real estate: construction.

As a kid, Dave loved sitting and watching neighborhood homes get built…so much so that a job foreman once told Dave’s dad that the kid needed to go get another hobby. Dave’s love for building and all things real estate only grew. Now he uses the same foundation that made his brokerage so successful and has applied those systems to development.
